FMX Bootcamp
This bootcamp is a little dated, from 2016, but if you are new to Delphi and FMX I can't recommend a better place to begin. Each video is between one and two hours long:
- Day 1 - The IDE and Your First App
- Day 2 - Getting to Know the Delphi Language
- Day 3 - Building Effective User Interfaces with FireMonkey
- Day 4 - Game Development with Delphi and FireMonkey
- Day 5 - Stepping up to Mobile and Database Development
The equivalent C++Builder Boot Camp playlist is available here.
You can find similar bootcamps and code rage videos on Embarcadero's YouTube channel.
Resources
Occasionally, Embarcadero makes some really awesome resources available for free:
- Object Pascal Handbook (Alexandria) - Great for learning Object Pascal
- Delphi Succinctly - Useful overview of modern Delphi development
- Delphi 5 Annotated - Awesome detailed coverage of VCL development
- VCL Poster - Poster of Delphi 7 VCL hierarchy
- FMX Poster - A basic FMX poster
You can learn more about Delphi at Learn Delphi or for free and paid resources Embarcadero Academy.
