The Joy of Coding

The Joy of Coding

The pressure of delivering projects can make us forget the joy we initially experienced when first learning to code. I remember sitting at a VIC-20 computer and entering something like this:

10 print "Hello"
20 goto 10

Being able to give instructions to a machine and have it perform some function was like magic. I was a cyber-hermit living in a 3.5k RAM paradise. Sleepless nights, days of joy and wonder!

Recapture the Joy

Here is a short video I put together a few years ago, to capture the joy of coding, and the good it can do to help the lives of others. Motivation for the journey, inspiration to continually improve.
